A native and current resident of Cleveland, pianist Matthew
Skitzki has performed in New York City, Washington D.C.,
and other venues around the country.  Mr. Skitzki's
engagements include solo piano performances at Maple
Heights Presbyterian Church, Trinity Cathedral, Cleveland
State University and at various private functions.

In addition to his solo appearances, Mr. Skitzki regularly
accompanies vocalists and instrumentalists.  He was the
winner of the 2010 Daniel Rains Concerto Competition in
Cleveland, OH, and a finalist in the
2009 Richardson Piano Competition in Lansing, MI.

Born into the musical generation of the Skitzki family,
Matthew studied at the world famous Cleveland Institute
of Music, received a full scholarship to Bowling Green State
University where he received a Bachelor of Music Degree in
Piano Performance, and completed a Master of Music
Degree in Piano Performance at Cleveland State University
with the Grammy Award-winning pianist Dr. Angelin Chang.
